Location

The St Pancras Renaissance Hotel is located in the heart of London’s busy King’s Cross district. The hotel fronts St Pancras International Station with the main entrance being accessible via Euston Road.

By Rail

Whether you’re coming from the UK or from one of London’s airports, the easiest way to get to the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel is by rail.

The hotel fronts St Pancras International station, served by mainline services from the Midlands and Kent, Thameslink services from the Southeast, Eurostar services from Paris and Brussels and the London Underground (from King’s Cross St Pancras on the Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Piccadilly, Victoria and Northern Lines).

King’s Cross station, served by mainline services from Scotland, the Northeast and East Anglia, is right across the road from the Hotel.

Euston station, served by West Coast Mainline services from Manchester and the Northwest, is a 10-15 minute walk away, or connected to King’s Cross St Pancras by the Northern and Victoria lines.

By Air

London is served by five international airports; Heathrow (LHR), Gatwick (LGW), Stansted (STN), Luton (LTN) and London City (LCY). The easiest connections to St Pancras are from Heathrow or Gatwick and most international flights will arrive into London Heathrow.

From Heathrow Airport, the fastest way to St Pancras is to take the Heathrow Express train from the airport to Paddington station, where you should connect to the Circle or Hammersmith & City London Underground lines to King’s Cross St Pancras (or jump in a taxi for £10-20 if you’re feeling lazy!). Book your Heathrow Express ticket online at least 14 days in advance to get a discounted fare. You will need to purchase a separate ticket for the Underground although you can use contactless bank cards (including Apple Pay, Google Pay etc.) directly on the ticket barriers. The total journey time is around 45 minutes.

Alternatively, the Piccadilly Line runs from Heathrow to King’s Cross St Pancras with no changes. This takes around 1 hour, though can be easier if you have luggage and is also cheaper.

From Gatwick Airport, the Thameslink rail service runs direct to St Pancras International.

From Stansted Airport, trains run directly to London Liverpool Street Station where you can connect to the Metropolitan, Circle or Hammersmith & City London Underground lines to King’s Cross St Pancras. A taxi from the arse of the world will cost more than £100.

From Luton Airport, you will need to take a shuttle bus to Luton Airport Parkway station. From here, you can connect onto a direct rail service to St Pancras International.

By Bus

Bus connections from much of the UK are available into Victoria Coach Station, mostly provided by National Express in addition to specific regional operators, such as the Oxford Tube from Oxford. Take the Victoria Line on the London Underground from Victoria to King’s Cross St Pancras.

By Car

Travel by car to Central London is not recommended as traffic can be busy and parking is limited. St Pancras is located on Euston Road (A501). If you intend to drive, we recommend booking your parking in advance in one of the nearby multistorey car parks.

Euston Road and St Pancras themselves are not within the Congestion Charge zone, but they are on the edge and you may well pass into the zone (even accidentally) on your journey which will incur an additional daily charge.

By Sea

(Because, of course, we had to include this…) Cunard Line’s Queen Mary 2 runs a regular Transatlantic liner service from New York to Southampton. Crossings typically depart every two weeks during the summer season, and take approximately seven days from New York to Southampton.

Upon arrival into Southampton, London is readily accessible by train. From Southampton Central, trains run directly to London Waterloo, from where Northern Line runs to Euston. From Euston, St Pancras is approximately a 10-15 minute walk, straight down the Euston Road. Alternatively, it is possible to arrange a car service direct from Southampton to London.
